पासवानसाहेब आता सगळी मदार तुमच्यावर !
गेल्या पंधरापेक्षा जास्त वर्षे बिहारवर राज्य करणार्‍या लालूच्या सत्तेला हादरा बसल्याने देशातल्या वा बिहारमधल्या राजकारणात किती फ़रक पडेल ते मला माहित नाही. पण त्यामुळे जर कुणाला सगळ्यात जास्त आनंद झाला असेल तर तो माझ्या रूममेट्ला ...
खरे तर मी स्वतः राजकारणापासून चार हात लांबच राहायचे बघतो.. पण मी सुद्धा काल दिवसभर रेडिओला चिकटून होतो. याचे कारण म्हणजे माझे roommates ! कर्मधर्मसंयोगाने ( किंवा माझ्या नशीबाने म्हणा...) माझे दोन्ही roommates बिहारी आहेत !
रोज रात्री जेवण झाल्यानंतर रूममध्ये चर्चेचा एकमेव विषय असतो तो म्हणजे 'बिहारच्या सद्ध्याच्या स्थितीला लालू कसा कारणीभूत आहे ...'
पण दोघांचीही बिहारच्या भविष्याविषयी अगदी वेगळी मते आहेत.
राकेशच्या मते - "बिहारका कुछ नही हो सकता... " त्याच्या मते सगळे नेते चोर आहेत, आणि बिहारी जनतेविषयी कुणाला काही घेणे नाही. "अरे भाई हम बचपनसे ये सब देखा हुं ..." , तो समर्थन करतो. त्याच्या गावात अजून वीज नाही ! त्याने आपले शाळकरी जीवन कंदीलाच्या उजेडात अभ्यास करून पार पाडले आहे. अजूनही तो जेंव्हा घरी जातो, तेंव्हा त्याला जगाच्या २० वर्षे मागे गेल्यासारखे वाट्ते. लवकरात लवकर दिल्लीत सेट्ल होउन घरच्यानाही इथेच आणायचा त्याचा मानस आहे...
मिहीर मात्र आशावादी आहे. तो बिहारच्या आतापर्यंतच्या एकंदरीत प्रवासाकडे त्रयस्थ नजरेने पाहतो. त्याच्या मते आधी वैचारीक असलेला उच्च आणि मागासवर्गीयांमधला लढा नंतर रक्तरंजीत झाला. पण एकदा सगळ्यांच्या मनातील प्रक्षोभ बाहेर पड्ल्यानंतर आपोआप त्यांची पावले विकासाकडे वळतील... बिहारच्या जनतेने निवडणुकीत आता दिलेला कौल तो याचेच द्योतक मानतो...
अशी ही नवीन बिहारी पिढीची दोन भिन्न रूपे... एक निराशावादी तर दुसरा आशावादी ...
कोण जिंकणार ? काँग्रेस कि भाजपा ? लालू की पासवान ?... मिहीर की राकेश ???

Nice to see ur blogs and that too on politics.
My opinion about Bihar.
We talk of India becoming developed up to 2020 but 40% population of India still leaves in UP and Bihar. And Unless and untill those states dont start progressing we cant talk of India becoming developed.
As far as development of Bihar is concerned president rule for at least 10 years under unbiased burocrats seems to be only solution.( May sound un constitutional) Since all politicians in Bihar are not much different than Laloo. Leader of oppsition Mr. Sushil Modi( BJP leader) was vice prseident of some university in his college days. Laloo was president at same time. Both were to gether in university politics.(Reference Jeena isi ka naam hai interview of Laloo). Mr Ramvilas Paswan is trying at most to have swing of Muslim votes on his side. His series of political actions after Gujarat and now his announcement of making Muslim CM indicates the same. One thing seems to be sure that every body is on hunt for Laloo. Since if presidents rule will help some then it is Congress! And in next election there will be 2 king makers Ramvilas and Congress. Now Ramvilas and congress can finish Laloo by taking his external support and keeping him at least little bit out of chair. But the sad part is Laloo has been consistently supported by CPI and CPM ( Ary Chankya of communists Mr Harkishan Singh Surjeet) and sad part is these guys are supporting Congress in centre. So there can be chances of Laloo coming back with giving Railway Ministry to Ramvilas or his party mates and doing some buisness with Congress. So its sad but true that its not easy to brush Laloo away. As far as Bjp is concerned they are untouchables in Bihar and they might be looking for breaking few people from RJD or Lokdal or Congress. But its brutal they have to do good business. ( But you never know Pramod and Pepsi can change any formula).
But if we really want Bihar to develope it has potential. It is largest milk producing province in Asia (Reference: Interview with IT minister Arun Shauri and congress leader Jayram Ramesh Aaj Tak.) But basic things like education to children, rural connectivity, trustworthy cooperative sector (as in western Maharashtra ) has to be developed. And i dont think current Bihari politicians can do it!!! Hence President rule under unbiased Burocrats can lead Bihar to grow!! Thats what I beleive!!

Infact, I too, think the same. Although development during President's rule be zero, it'll be better than the negative groth rate as is now...
